Mission accomplished! Liberty Racing 2025 Gold and Platinum are all set

Successful purchases at the Sales & Racing Festival and Arqana complete both 2025 syndicates with four hopefuls each carrying the big dream.

Everything is complete – and everyone is delighted!
As of today, the chapter “Yearling Purchases 2025” is officially closed, and both Liberty Racing syndicates have every reason to celebrate.

After the BBAG Yearling Sale in September, Liberty Racing 2025 Gold was initially equipped with three horses and Liberty Racing 2025 Platinum with two (as reported on September 6).

However, there were still a few places to fill and Lars-Wilhelm Baumgarten and Nadine Siepmann made sure to do just that with another successful appearance at the BBAG Sales & Racing Festival auction.

At a final bid of €38,000, the team secured AGGELOS (pictured), a chestnut colt by Isfahan offered by OH Consignment. His dam descends from the highly successful family of champion mare Arastou, which has also produced the champion stayer Altano and current Group winners Alleno and Alessio.

With that, the fourth horse for Liberty Racing 2025 Gold was found.

Just a week later, the Arqana Sale in Deauville, France was on the agenda and once again, the Liberty team was in fine buying form.

For Liberty Racing 2025 Platin the hammer first fell at €80,000 for Lot 152, a colt by New Bay out of a Sea The Stars sister to French Group 1 winner Feed The Flame and Sacred Life, third in the Arlington Million and later a stallion.

An hour later came Lot 230, a strong bay colt by Australia out of a daughter of the Group 1-placed Oasis Dream mare Zatenda, whose family includes Group performers Kenya and Duhail. The final bid was €65,000.

With these purchases, both syndicates are now perfectly set for the 2025 season: Liberty Racing 2025 Gold and Liberty Racing 2025 Platinum each feature four promising yearlings – a dream outcome for everyone involved!

The two “French recruits” are already on their way to Gestüt Ohlerweiherhof in Saarland, where they will begin their pre-training alongside the other six colts.

There, they will soon meet their owners, all of whom are already looking forward to the now traditional open day and presentation event.
