Fifth place in Gr.2 Union-Rennen for AMICO

Derby hopeful AMICO finishes in good fifth place in Gr.2 Union for Liberty Racing 2023 Australia.

Seven hopefuls met today to determine their position in the most important Derby preliminary test, the €70,000 Gr.2 Union-Rennen at Cologne. Among them was AMICO, who races for Liberty Racing 2023 Australia, with Leon Wolff in the saddle. Henk Grewe's protégé ran a very good race in the 2,200 metres contest parked on the inner rails and finished a very good fifth behind the two strong first-placed horses, which earned him the last place money.
