3yo Steinberg-trained colt fulfills expectations, scores over 2,000 metres with style.
Three-year-old ANTINORI, who runs for the Liberty Racing 2023 Kings syndicate, scored his first career win at Munich today and he did it excellent style. The likeable protégé of Munich-based trainer Sarah Steinberg competed against his peers in the Continental Cup over 1,850 metres with Lukas Delozier in the saddle and was the intended horse here. The Adlerflug colt fully lived up to this assessment and fulfilled all expectations. Coming from the middle of the field, Delozier took the colt to task even before reaching the straight, where he drew clear with increasing distance and ultimately booked a solid victory by a length.
