Cracksman filly out of Abadan sold at BBAG for €30,000 to Angel-Racing for Liberty Breeding 2023.
Yesterday’s auction in Iffezheim was also a successful event for LIBERTY BREEDING 2023. OH Consignment offered, on behalf of Liberty’s breeding syndicate, the third product of the SAMUM mare ABADAN born under the Liberty banner —a lovely chestnut filly by CRACKSMAN. The filly went through the ring as LOT 141 and was purchased by Angel-Racing for €30,000.
The twelve-year-old ABADAN was bred by Gestüt Ohlerweiherhof. During her racing career, she was known for her staying power, winning the “Langer Hamburger,” a Listed race over 3,200 metres, and placing in a Gr.3 race over 2,200 meters. Last year, her yearling colt by Isfahan went to Hungary. In 2026, she gave the syndicate a colt by our Derby hero FANTASTIC MOON whom she also visited this year.
