A wonderful tradition: 2025 syndicates visit their future stars in pre-training

How time flies! Last Saturday, Nadine Siepmann and Lars-Wilhelm Baumgarten invited the shareholders of the new syndicates to visit their hopefuls of the next two years at the Ohlerweiherhof Stud farm for the sixth consecutive time.

The eight yearlings, which were purchased at the BBAG Yearling Sale and the October Arqana Yearling Sale in Deauville, had already settled in and presented themselves in top form to the group of co-owners who had traveled to the stud farm. Calm, composed, and curious, the colts strode through the hall, seemingly unimpressed by the high ambitions that all those present had for them.

Nadine Siepmann explained the pedigrees and backgrounds that had led to interest in each of the animals, and Nastasja Volz-Degel gave a first impression of how the new arrivals had settled into their stables. After the presentation, during which the guests were also able to admire the stud's stallions Isfahan and Rubaiyat, everyone went to the stables, where there was plenty of petting, apples, and carrots to go around.

It was also great that the trainers and representatives of the racing stables of the future stars were already present in the form of the Schiergen family, Sarah Steinberg, and jockey Rene Piechulek.

All in all, it was a successful event, even though it rained for the first time in six years. However, neither the two-legged nor the four-legged guests let this spoil their mood, and thanks to the great organisation of the Ohlerweiherhof team, it was once again a harmonious gathering that left everyone looking forward to next year.
