Arqana Purchase completes Liberty Racing 2026 Platinum

Siepmann and team conclude this year's auction activities with purchase of Zarak colt.
A trip to France, and then there were four. The team led by Liberty’s co-founder Nadine Siepmann had travelled to Arqana in Deauville straight after the Sales & Racing Festival to find a horse at the Vente de Yearlings d’Octobre that would complete this year’s Platinum Syndicate – and shortly after 3 p.m. today, the good news arrived: they’d done it!
The colt with Lot 97, offered by Haras d’Etreham, was purchased for €85,000 and will set off for the Ohlerweiherhof stud this very evening. The bay son of Zarak is out of the Golden Horn mare SILVER HORN, a sister to none other than NATHANIEL, who ranks among Europe’s leading sires. This means all the syndicates are now complete for this year, and we are very much looking forward to seeing the eight stallions in action next year.
