Derby winner Fantastic Moon finishes a strong second in the Gr.1 Grosser Dallmayr-Preis

Despite the rain and soft going, Fantastic Moon ran a strong race for Liberty Racing 2021 in the Bavarian capital.
Derby winner Fantastic Moon once again showed his determination and fighting spirit at Munich racecourse today. The Sarah Steinberg-trained colt ran a very strong race under René Piechulek in the €155,000 Gr.1 Grosser Dallmayr-Preis, delivered a thrilling finish in the straight and only had to concede to the French group winner Calif after 2,000 metres.
It had rained heavily before the race and the Sea The Moon son did not find the ideal ground conditions for him. "In the end, it was a bit too far for him on this ground," was Piechulek's conclusion after the race. Liberty Racing founder Lars-Wilhelm Baumgarten pointed out that Fantastic Moon once again confirmed his standing and - most importantly - is and remains the best German horse.
