  • Subscription period: Aug 1, 2026 to Sept 30, 2026

  • Number of horses: 3 to 4 (colts and fillies possible)

  • Purchases: At auction sales at Baden-Baden, Deauville, Newmarket, Ireland and from racing stables and stud farms.

  • Selection criteria: Both proven and freshmen sires may be considered for selection, with a continued focus on the horses’ classic potential for the German Derby (Deutsches Derby) and the German Oaks (Preis der Diana). The key criteria remain conformation, pedigree and overall impression. Selection process as in previous years (IT tools supporting pedigree analysis, yearlings are viewed in person both at the stud farms and during the auction, and all purchases must be unanimously approved by a five-member expert team.)

  • Sales/dissolution: Horses are sold at the end of the three-year-old season. One horse can be kept after a majority vote for another year. Settlement takes place on Dec 31, 2028. All proceeds and profits achieved after deduction of all costs (purchase, training, veterinary, etc.) are paid out to the shareholders.
